A Special Choice Moms Storybook: Growing up without a father

Our storybook created by Choice Moms, featuring artwork by Choice Kids, is called I Felt You Flutter in My Heart.

It’s a 20-page storybook about a young girl who feels badly after a boy at the playground doesn’t quite believe that she doesn’t have a dad. It’s a story of what her mother tells her, about how and why she came to be. And, most of all, it’s a story about the love of families and friends.

The story was written by Choice Mom Stacey MacGlashan, and illustrated by six Choice Kids.

You can preview most of it at the Blurb.com bookstore, to decide if it’s a book you’d like to share.

Also use the “talking” keyword link above, especially for this blog about other resources for talking about different family structures, donor conception, and growing up without a father.
