We had a wonderful first-ever Choice Moms Expo in Minneapolis (April 2010), with more than 60 adults mingling with insight and support -- as well as great childcare fun for 20 Choice Kids. Here are some of the tips and connections made.
1. Krista Post led a session with 12 thinkers/tryers.
As she wrote afterward: "I so enjoyed meeting all of you today, and hearing your stories. Thank you for sharing your experiences and feelings openly with each other. I was so impressed by how much practical advice and encouragement you had for each other. It feels good to be in a circle among people who 'get it', doesn't it?!!"
She has since organized a regular session for local Choice Moms in the thinking/trying stage to get together to talk.
Krista has also offered a great local listing of service providers for any woman who is considering or having a baby. See her resource listed below for PDF download.
This website also features a podcast from Krista's session at the Choice Moms Expo.
