Dawn Davenport at Creating a Family had a great radio show about the bumps that can occur after adoption.

The May 2010 show entitled "Happily Ever After? Unexpected Bumps for New Adoptive Families," was described by Dawn in this way:

"You’ve filled out forms, you were interviewed and inspected, you waited, you hoped, you prayed. Now you finally have your long awaited child, but maybe life is not exactly what you thought it would be. Our guests to talk about how adoption affects couple, siblings, and grandparents are adoption therapists, Mari Itzkowitz, with the Center for Adoption Support and Education in Virginia and Rita Taddonio, the Director of the Adoption Resource Center at Spence Chapin Services to Families and Children in New York City. You can listen or download the show at the radio page of http://www.creatingafamily.org."
