ONLY TEN COPIES LEFT IN PRINT! Years ago I collaborated with Wendy and Ryan Kramer, the mother-and-son co-founders of Donor Sibling Registry, on some new tools for families created by donor conception. This was one of them.

Behind Closed Doors: Moving Beyond Secrecy and Shame" is a 100-page book about the donor sperm industry, from the perspective of three donor-conceived adults, a long-time anonymous donor, an infertile father whose two children were created from donor gametes, and Wendy Kramer, who has long been an advocate for reform in the unregulated industry.

Although much of it is written for couples about the importance of disclosure -- husbands and wives often are conflicted about whether to tell their children about donor origins -- it has great insight, especially from the donor-conceived adults, about the debate many prospective parents have today about whether to use an anonymous or open-identity donor. Most donor-conceived adults would vastly have preferred the option to know more about the donor and believe anonymous donors should be disallowed, as they are in many countries.

I am selling the last 10 copies for a flat rate of $13, plus $4 U.S. shipping, and $7 international shipping. After that it will only be available in e-book form, as it will be out of print. Send me a note at info @ choicemoms.org if you want one of the last 10 copies.
