MINNESOTA
The estate attorney who was recommended by another single parent for the Choice Mom networking event in Spring 2010 was used by at least six women after the event. When they got together and compared notes, they reported that most of them were very unhappy with the length of time it was taking to get their paperwork done with him (several months). A few of them had a scheduled appointment that he failed to show up for. So he's obviously no longer on our recommended list. Instead, local Choice Moms have recommended these attorneys:
Margaret A. Tortorella Cronin
GRANDCHAMP, GUYETTE & CRONIN, PLLC
Wayzata, Minnesota 55391

"Their website focuses more on elder law but they work with everyone (and incidentally, her law partner, John Buchholz, focuses on estate planning in the gay community, which not many attorneys do.)"
