Given the large number of questions on the Choice Mom discussion boards about fertility, and the fact that many of us don't realize until late in the game how fragile our fertility is, I couldn't do this topic justice on the website and in our networking events without our Choice Mom fertility experts.

These fertility clinics, doctors and other specialists have been crucial to the success of Choice Moms in the Trying stage, by not only financially supporting ChoiceMoms.org, but by lending their insight to our long list of questions. Use the comments field below to ask your questions -- keeping in mind that no doctor can offer specific advice about a treatment plan without meeting you and seeing your numbers -- and I'll ask a few people from this highly supportive network to respond.

1. Laurel Fertility Care, led by Dr. Collin Smikle and Dr. Lee Kao, was a sponsor of the 2010 Choice Mom networking event in San Francisco and has contributed many blog posts to our Fertility section.

2. Dr. Rafat Abbasi has twice sponsored and offered excellent advice at our D.C. events; she and clinic partner Dr. Rifka are at Columbia Fertility Associates.

3. Dr. Michael Zinger at East Coast Fertility was a sponsor at our 2010 New York City event, and provided wonderful insight to this website about ovulation detection.

4. Dr. Richard Chetkowski of Alta Bates IVF has joined ChoiceMoms.org to provide information about the growing area of embryo donation. He is a board-certified RE associated with Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in the Berkeley/Oakland areas, a network known for its 100-plus years of service to women and children.

5. Reproductive Medicine Associates of Philadelphia sent Dr. Benjamin Gocial to our 2011 Philadelphia networking event, and he offered great insights to the women there -- and encouraged Choice Moms to promote this choice as a Plan A option for more women to consider before they wait too long for Mr. Right.

6. Dr. Clifford Librach of CReATe Fertility in Toronto has a wonderfully accessible approach with the many Choice Moms who recommend him.

7. Seattle Reproductive Medicine is the clinic recommended by Choice Moms who attended our 2011 Seattle event.

8. Carolinas Health Care is a Choice Mom-friendly clinic based throughout North and South Carolina.
