Blogs about single parenting

Resources

There are a lot of amazing women writing specifically about the single mother journey. Here are a few of my favorites:

Christina's Solo Mother blog has a fluid, positive outlook on being a single mother, which she enjoys despite the fact that it wasn't her path by choice

Not always about the journey, but definitely entertaining, "Musings of a Fat Chick."

After finishing her DIY attempts and pregnancy, this Choice Mom launched a new blog about life with her child

Rachel Sarah is author of "Single Mom Seeking," and focuses on the dating aspect of single parenthood -- although not a Choice Mom by definition, she is a great reporter who finds excellent tidbits to pass along to the single mom

Another fellow single parent author, Christine Coppa, writes for Glamour about her journey as a single parent (not by choice), with an emphasis on thoughtfully talking about fun and serious topics with single moms
