May Hot Topic: Celebrating Our Mother Journeys

My op-ed in American Fertility Association's "Connections" newsletter is part of a theme that has been emerging of late for Choice Moms: when it finally comes, we are proud parents, dedicated to our children, and generally quite peaceful (after that first year as Mom anyway) about the choices we've made.

Check out the newsletter op-ed called "The Right to Peaceful Parenting."

Listen to the two latest Choice Chat podcasts: my interviews with Ken Daniels, who reiterates why we have every reason to celebrate the families we build so consciously, and with Louise Sloan, who explains how her 14 insemination attempts left her with so much to be happy about.

Read the latest blog entries, including one in the THINKING stage wondering how to juggle work travel with single motherhood, one in the TRYING stage from Kathy who recently miscarried, and my CHOICE MOM post about the interesting history I learned about "divorce on foot."

Find out why one study says why single moms have it easier than our married counterparts in the BEING section.

Then find a way to celebrate Mother's Day this year, even if you're not quite there yet, because we are all part of an awesome community of women.
